If you are having a Christian Education of Worship Leadership event, you might want to consider including one of the three workshops offered by Jon Lloyd.

• Where’s the “Why” in Youth Ministry? – Are you a youth minister? Volunteer? Unpaid, overworked church staff member? Babysitter? If so, you’ll want to check out this workshop. We’ll take a step back and view youth ministry as a whole, then dive in and look at specific areas of ministry, such as events, missions, small groups, etc. We’ll realize that we have the who, what, where, when, and how, but perhaps the most important question, and the one we’re most likely lacking, is “Why?”
• All the Technology You Need for Youth Ministry – In an ever-evolving youth culture where e-mail is “too slow,” youth ministry can struggle to keep up. This course will give you a refreshing glimpse into the world of technology, and dive right into the latest and greatest methods of communication with your students. This workshop is updated constantly, as technology proves to never slow down! Note: In some settings, this course is done in a hands-on setting, with participants encouraged to bring laptop computers.
• Worship through Music in a Contemporary Service – Contemporary music has become a staple of many congregations in the Christian church. Knowing how to lead worship through Contemporary music is essential in order to start, maintain, or grow any Contemporary service. In this course, we’ll dive right into Contemporary music, and introduce new and exciting ways to put new spins on “old favorites.”
